Bio.
Biography
They grew up with a close familiarity with the piano from early childhood. During high school, invited by an upperclassman, they joined a rock band as a keyboardist. Around the same time, they also picked up the drums; however, because of their taste for niche, instrumental music, they chose not to look for bandmates and focused solely on keyboards for their band activities. It was only after graduating from high school and moving on to higher education that they finally began performing as a drummer in an instrumental band. After navigating various twists and turns, they managed to enter the workforce. Although Hatsune Miku was a hot topic at their workplace at the time, their deep-rooted love for instrumental music meant they didn’t take much interest in it back then.
Later on, they fell ill, a hardship that left them unable to play instruments properly. This turning point, however, sparked a newfound interest in vocal-driven music. Amidst this struggle, it was the Vocaloids—Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, and Len—that restored their hope and inspired them to keep pursuing music. While their musical tastes span many genres, and they had been composing since their student days, it was through Vocaloid that they finally shared their music with the public for the first time, marking their debut in both songwriting and lyric writing.
Since childhood, they have cherished a deep love for fantasy and anime. Their strong fascination with magic naturally drew them to the magical girl genre. Driven by a lifelong interest in how characters move, they have also taken on the challenge of video production for the first time under the moniker “Tappo.” At heart, they are a laid-back soul who loves nuts.
On a playful note, mirun affectionately views them as a bit of a daydreamer, playfully suspecting that they might have a few screws loose.
Biography
Since childhood, they struggled with a frail constitution, making poor health an unfortunate constant in their daily life. Hoping to build strength, they dedicated themselves to sports during their student years. Influenced by their music-loving mother, a deep passion for music was also sparked within them from a very young age.
At around 17, prompted by a friend’s invitation, they picked up the drums and began playing in a band. Driven by the dream of turning professional, they later moved to Tokyo, actively performing throughout the city and earning recognition with award wins in competitions.
Yet, amidst these fulfilling days, tragedy struck. A few years later, a mysterious symptom suddenly robbed them of their grip strength, leaving them unable to hold their drumsticks. To make matters worse, a serious illness was diagnosed shortly after, forcing them to abandon their dream. Attempting to leave music behind and return to a normal life left a gaping hole in their heart. Everything lost its color, and they endured a long, painful period of grief over losing what mattered most.
Amidst this darkness, a turning point arrived. They learned that mirun, who was battling a similar hardship, was stepping back into the music world as a Vocaloid producer. Realizing that they, too, still had something left to give, they decided to join forces and form a unit with mirun, stepping back into the world of music once again.
Since then, they have thrown themselves into new creative challenges, teaching themselves illustration from scratch. Guided by a lifelong love for singing and a meticulous standard for quality, they also took up Vocaloid tuning. They deeply feel that the sensitivity and expressive power cultivated through their past musical journey now breathe life into their current creations.
They continue to create with a singular mission: to instill hope and courage in everyone who listens to mirumerun’s music.
On a personal note, they possess a fierce sense of justice and are a passionate fan of anime where good triumphs over evil. mirun often looks up to them with immense admiration, constantly impressed by their methodical nature and exceptional schedule management.
