This Fleeting Moment
(English Translation)
Standing on the sands of illusion,
The moonlight pierces my heart.
Everything we see now
Will someday fade away,
Replaced by the words
“impermanence” and “sorrow.”
“Time” —
It can be your enemy
Or your ally.
It all depends on you.
If you’re going to live this life,
Don’t be bound by the past.
Overcome, one by one,
The walls of time that lie ahead.
Through this fleeting moment,
Just keep running.
Memories suddenly cross my mind
Of the mistakes I’ve made time and again.
And yet, another self within me says,
“Put everything on the line
For what lies right in front of you.”
There’s no time
To look back on the days gone by.
Because so many moments of decision
Are waiting for you on the road ahead.
Through this fleeting moment,
Just keep running.
